From the sea to your plate: one of the finest culinary and cultural experiences.
Discover the clam farms where one of Valencia’s finest produce is cultivated on this 50-minute catamaran tour. You’ll stop amongst the authentic floating nurseries to learn the secrets of Valencian clóchina farming and enjoy a delicious tasting with local white wine on deck.
What we will do
We’ll meet the crew about 30 minutes before departure at the meeting point in Valencia. Once we’re all settled on board the two-deck catamaran, we’ll cast off to begin the experience, listening to the safety briefing during the first few minutes of the trip.
We’ll sail through the Marina de Valencia, heading towards the ‘clotxineras’ – the floating platforms used for farming Valencian clams. We’ll make a very special stop alongside these unique nurseries, during which one of the crew members will go down to lift one of the ropes, show us this exquisite mollusc up close and reveal the secrets of its traditional cultivation and harvesting. An exclusive opportunity to discover the origins of this gem of local cuisine!
To round off the trip in style, we’ll treat ourselves to a delicious tasting of clóchinas on board, perfectly paired with a glass of refreshing Valencian white wine. We’ll savour the authentic flavour of the Mediterranean whilst letting the breeze carry us away before returning to port.
The excursion will last a total of 50 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for all ages.
Minors must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible. People with reduced mobility may take part provided they are able to board with the assistance of a companion.
Other information
The tour runs from February to November. The tour is confirmed once a minimum group of 15 passengers has been reached.
People aged 65 and over are entitled to a discount. Please contact us to arrange this if you are over this age.
You’ll sail aboard a comfortable, fully equipped two-deck motor catamaran . It can accommodate up to 150 passengers and on board you’ll find toilets, indoor and outdoor areas, a bar service…
You are not permitted to bring your own food or drink on board.
Pets are not permitted on board.
There is a pay-and-display car park near the boarding point. It is also possible to reach the area by public transport (tram and bus) .

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
