Disconnect from the routine with this 4-hour catamaran tour from Puerto Calero. You'll sail off the volcanic coast of Lanzarote aboard a boat with a 100% electric and silent engine, designed to take you into the dolphin and whale habitat in a totally respectful way.
What we will do
The crew will meet us 10 minutes before departure at the meeting point in Puerto Calero. We will receive a brief introduction and we will be ready to board La Santa María, a sailing catamaran with an electric motor, unique in Europe for its emission and noise free navigation.
Once we are settled, we will cast off while the expert guide explains to us with the help of a map the areas where there are usually sightings. We will sail offshore following a flexible itinerary that will adapt completely to the wind, the state of the sea and the location of the cetaceans.
We will discover one of the most diverse marine strips of the Canary Islands to observe whales and dolphins in a respectful way. Our experience will be complete thanks to the hydrophone and the 360º camera of the boat, while the guide explains their behaviour. Depending on the day, we will share space with bottlenose dolphins, spotted dolphins, pilot whales or even imposing sperm whales.
Our trip will go beyond sightings: we will actively participate in the conservation of the environment, helping to collect plastic from the sea, and our photos may become part of a research and identification project.
To round off the day, we will enjoy fresh fruit, snacks and drinks such as local juices, organic soft drinks and beer on board. We will return to port with the satisfaction of having lived an experience in tune with the ocean.
The total duration of the experience will be about 4 hours.

Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult .
Access to the boat is not adapted, but people with motor disabilities may board with assistance. It is advisable to inform the crew in advance if you have mobility problems; you will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.

It is possible to participate in the experience all year round and the departure is confirmed when a minimum group of 4 people is reached.
You will sail aboard La Santa Maria, a sailing catamaran with a 100% electric and silent engine, the first of its kind in Europe for whale and dolphin watching. It is an emission-free vessel that generates no environmental pollutants. It is equipped with a hydrophone and 360º camera, guaranteeing the best possible experience during whale watching.
The activity is dog-friendly, as long as the pet is used to doing activities with its owners and taking into account that this is a tour in which people from other groups may participate.
It is not possible to swim in the sea during the tour.
There is free parking very close to the boarding area. There is also a bus stop about 10 minutes walk away.
*The organiser of the experience will donate 7. 5% of the net proceeds to support the cetacean protection work carried out by the WeWhale Association.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
