Full description
Eight hours on board a catamaran in the Vigo estuary is a lot of fun. And if the plan is flexible, even better.
The skipper will help you decide the best route aboard the Orion catamaran: anchoring off Barra beach, sailing along the estuary or even heading to the Cíes Islands ( with permission requested in advance). And between swims, if you feel like it, you can paddle surf or simply relax and enjoy the surroundings.
A whole day at sea to take care of body and mind, surrounded by nature and good company.
What we will do
The appointment will be 15 minutes before departure time at Náutico de Vigo. Once on board the Orion catamaran, the skipper will give us a brief talk on safety rules and the basic operation of the boat.
From then on, the route will be as free as the sea. If the weather permits and the permission to anchor in the natural park has been requested in advance, we can sail to the Cíes Islands. If not, the beach of Barra or some other hidden corner of the estuary will be equally spectacular options. The skipper will advise you on the best plan for the day.
During the crossing there will be time to relax in the sun, have lunch on deck, take a refreshing dip in the water or paddle surf. We will also have a dinghy to disembark and enjoy the beach from dry land.
After 8 hours of sailing, we will return to the port with the feeling of having made the most of the sea.

Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The catamaran is not accessible for people with reduced mobility.

The charter is available all year round.
Departure time is flexible and can be arranged with the skipper. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
You will sail aboard the Orion, a 12.37 metre Lagoon catamaran equipped with 2 x 40 hp engines. Normally, it is motor sailed. On board you will find 4 double cabins, 4 bathrooms, full kitchen, lounge area with TV and speakers, solarium, freshwater shower and dinghy. Ideal for enjoying the sea in comfort.
The activity is pet-friendly, but it will be necessary to communicate in advance the presence of pets.
Paid parking is available in the Náutico de Vigo area. You can also get there by bus.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
