Experience a day of total adventure in Villalba de la Sierra in Cuenca!
Go canyoning in the river Júcar and test your balance on the via ferrata at Ventano del Diablo, to discover the Serranía de Cuenca from land and water in a unique way.
Nature, adrenaline and film-like landscapes in a 5 and a half hour guided experience. Get ready for a day of adventure, water and mountains in one of the most beautiful places in Cuenca!
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the selected time at the reserve in Villalba de la Sierra (Cuenca). The professional guide will be waiting for us to give us the necessary equipment.
We will start with the via ferrata of Ventano del Diablo or with the descent of the Barranco del Río Júcar; the order will depend on the day and our group.
On the via ferrata we will walk up steps, cross exciting Tibetan bridges and advance along wooden walkways. All this with unique views of the limestone walls of the canyon and the Júcar river with its crystal clear waters reminiscent of the Caribbean. This part of the experience is ideal for beginners to via ferrata, as the first section of the Ventano del Diablo is classified as k2-k3 and is suitable for beginners. The same via ferrata has a second part of level k4, perfect for the more experienced and intrepid.
In the canyon we will enjoy funnatural slides and jumps from different heights, with a maximum of 4 metres. We will swim through turquoise waters surrounded by impressive rock walls, feeling the adrenaline and excitement in every stretch.
The total duration of the experience will be approximately 5 to 5 and a half hours (2 and a half hours per activity).
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for children aged 6 and over. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
It is not compulsory to know how to swim, but you must be in good physical condition and have good mobility.
The minimum height for the via ferrata is 1.20m.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women or people with heart or back problems.
Other information
The activity is available from March to November and is confirmed with a minimum of 6 people.
The organiser will send more information about the meeting point a few days before the activity.
On the day of the activity it will be necessary to pay a municipal tourist tax.
There are no changing rooms, it is recommended to arrive with suitable clothing and a swimming costume.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
