If you saw the photos of this canyon on Instagram, you'd think we'd have abused the filters.
Enjoy a canyoning experience in the lower section of the most spectacular river in the Sierra de Guara. During the tour, you'll enter narrow corridors and hidden caves, overcoming natural jumps and slides in a crystal-clear water environment that looks like something out of a science fiction film.
Dare to explore the heart of Huesca; the scenery will leave you speechless.
What we will do
We will meet punctually at the meeting point in Huerta de Vero, Huesca, where we will be met by the guide who will accompany us on this adventure. We will follow him in our private vehicle to the lower Mascún ravine.
At the starting point we will get equipped and listen to an explanation from the guide about the basic techniques and safety measures of the activity. Then we will walk for about 30 minutes until we reach the access to the ravine, where we will listen to the last recommendations before starting the descent.
For approximately 3 hours we will advance through the canyon following the route marked by the guide, overcoming natural obstacles between jumps, natural slides and refreshing dips. We will move through a landscape that seems to be taken from another world: narrow rock corridors, hidden caves and natural pools of crystalline water.
As soon as we leave the canyon, 5 minutes of walking will be enough to reach our vehicles again.
The total duration of the experience is about 5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is necessary and it is possible to participate with children from 6 years of age.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult or have the authorisation of a legal guardian.
It is compulsory to know how to swim.
The experience is not recommended for pregnant women.
It is not accessible for people with motor disabilities.
If you have any doubts about the suitability of the experience, consult your doctor.
Other information
The experience is available from approximately mid-May to the end of September.
Punctuality is extremely important; arriving late could mean missing the activity.
At the guide's discretion, the experience could be transferred to another similar canyon in the surroundings of the Sierra y Cañones de Guara Natural Park.
At the meeting point there are changing rooms with toilets, but for your comfort you will change before entering the canyon.
The companions who do not participate will receive advice on places to visit in the area, also suitable for access with pets.
There is free parking space both at the meeting point and in the vicinity of the canyon, but it is not possible to reach the area by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
