If you want to get away from the daily grind, get off the sofa.
Give a new sport a go by abseiling down the Gorgo de la Escalera water ravine in Anna. A beginner’s experience offering four hours of fun in the heart of nature: natural pools, jumps, natural slides, abseiling… Nothing can resist you in one of the most stunning spots in the province of Valencia.

What we will do
Please arrive 15 minutes before your booking time at the meeting point in Anna. Our guide will be waiting for us there and will provide us with all the equipment needed for the activity: a wetsuit, an approved helmet and a canyoning harness.
From the meeting point, we’ll head to the start of the gorge, where we’ll attend a briefing on the experience, how to use the equipment and the safety rules.
And then it’ll be time to venture into the Gorgo de la Escalera! This spectacular water-filled gorge is fed by a tributary of the River Sellent, which maintains its flow all year round. Along the way, we’ll explore pools where we’ll tackle a series of jumps, slides and several abseils, all surrounded by nature.
Explanations will continue throughout the descent, providing us with the necessary guidance to tackle each obstacle in this canyon, which is ideal for families and beginners. In any case, there will always be alternatives to ensure we can complete the activity successfully.
After completing the descent, we’ll make a very straightforward return directly to the car park.
The experience will last a total of around 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
No previous canyoning experience is required, and the descent is suitable for children aged 8 and over.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
This activity is not suitable for pregnant women or people with mobility impairments.

The activity is available all year round and is confirmed once a minimum group of 4 people has been reached .
Important!: Conditions in the gorge depend on rainfall, so it may be necessary to change the dates.
You will need to provide the organisers with each participant’s height and weight in advance. This information is required to ensure the correct allocation of wetsuits. You will receive the organisers’ contact details in your confirmation email.
Non-participating companions may wait in the area, where there are walking trails. Dogs are permitted on a lead.
During the experience, the instructor will take photos which they will send to you by email or WhatsApp.
There is free parkingin the area , but it is not possible to get there by public transport.
Recommended clothing
- Swimming trunks or tight-fitting sportswear (to be worn under the neoprene)
- Canyoning boots or mountaineering shoes

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
