Full description
A crack in the earth turned into a natural adventure park.
Canyoning in the Garganta de las Gloces, in Fanlo, is one of the most impressive descents in the Aragonese Pyrenees. A deep and narrow canyon, sculpted by water and full of magical corners. Optional jumps, natural slides and a 14-metre abseil make this experience perfect for beginners to canyoning and let yourself be surprised.
An aquatic adventure for all the family, do you dare to slide into the depths of the Pyrenees?
What we will do
The appointment with the guide will be at the indicated time at the Torla offices. There we will check in, pick up the technical equipment and organise ourselves to drive to the Garganta de las Gloces car park in Fanlo, a journey that will take us about 25 minutes.
Once there, we will get ready while the guide gives a brief briefing. Afterwards, we will walk for about 10-15 minutes to get to the beginning of the gorge, where the guide will give us the last indications before starting the activity.
The Garganta de las Gloces is one of the most spectacular descents in the Aragonese Pyrenees. Along the 700-metre route, narrow passages, high walls that almost touch each other and a constant play of light and shadow make the descent magical.
As soon as we start, we will find a 14-metre abseil (compulsory), always secured by the guide with an auxiliary rope. Afterwards, we will enjoy several slides, small ledges and between two and three optional jumps of up to 4 metres.
With a gentle slope and no long swimming sections, this is a perfect activity for those who are looking for an introduction to canyoning or to enjoy it with the family. After about 2 or 2 and a half hours of canyoning, the return is done on foot for about 30 minutes until you get back to the car.
The total duration of the activity is approximately 3 and a half hours.
