A crevice between mountains is all you need to discover a hidden world of fun.
The Forat Negre canyon in Vallcebre combines chained abseils , a natural cave , narrow corridors and optional jumps that make it a complete experience to get you started (or repeat) in canyoning. In the heart of Berguedà and very close to the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, an adventure that will leave a mark awaits you, all in an amazing mountain setting.

What we will do
The appointment will be 10 minutes before the booking time at the meeting point in Vallcebre, where we will receive the material and solve the first doubts. From there, we will organise ourselves in private cars to get to the nearest car park to the ravine, about 2 km away.
We will be very close to Pedraforca and the Cadì-Moixerò Natural Park, immersed in the nature of Berguedà. Once at the starting point, we will finish equipping ourselves and the guide will give us a detailed briefing on safety and basic techniques to go down the canyon with total confidence.
We will begin the descent of the Forat Negre canyon with a first section that is perfect for getting used to abseiling. We will overcome five chained descents, all of them between 10 and 15 metres, accompanied at all times by the guide.
In the second part, the adventure becomes more playful: we will cross the cave that gives its name to the canyon and we will enter a narrower section with cliffs, boxed passages and a couple of optional jumps that will add extra excitement.
The return is an easy 15-minute walk downhill to the initial meeting point. From there the guide will accompany the drivers so that they can recover the cars.
The experience will last approximately 4 hours in total, of which between 2. 5 and 3 hours will be spent inside the canyon.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for beginners and is open to participants aged 10 and over.
A minimum height of 1. 30 metres and a maximum height of 2 metres is required . The minimum weight is 25 kg and the maximum is 110 kg.
It is advisable to know how to swim. If you can't swim, tell the guide on the day of the activity.
The activity is not accessible for people with motor disabilities.
The experience is not recommended for pregnant women, people with cardiovascular problems, knee or back injuries. If you have any doubts about the suitability of the activity, we advise you to consult your doctor.
It is forbidden to participate under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The experience is available from April to September and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Please note: you will need to provide the guide with the following information in advance: name, weight and foot number. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
You will be very close to the offices of the organiser of the activity, so they will have changing rooms and showers (with cold water) available.
Non-participating companions and pets (on a leash) can go to the entrance to the canyon or stay and visit the village of Vallcebre.
Free parking is available near the meeting point. It is not possible to reach the area by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
