Explore the Forat de Bóixols, a spectacular canyon full of surprises in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees.
With natural slides, jumps, abseils of up to 12 metres and breathtaking landscapes, this canyon has all the ingredients to get you hooked. This 3-hour guided water descent is ideal for beginners as well as for those who want a varied, fun and exciting experience from start to finish.
What we will do
We will meet at the agreed time at the meeting point in the picturesque village of Bóixols, in Pallars Jussà, in the province of Lleida, Catalonia. After introductions and a short chat to get to know the plan for the day, we will get ready with all the necessary equipment and start a short approach of about 10 minutes to the start of the Forat de Bóixols.
Once there, we will equip ourselves next to the fresh water of the river, and the professional guide will explain everything we need: from the basic techniques of progression to the safety rules to make the most of this adventure.
From the very first moment, the canyon will welcome us with a route full of excitement: jumps, slides, abseiling and abseiling between impressive rock formations. Throughout the descent, we will overcome easy and fun obstacles, perfect for beginners as well as for those who have already tried canyoning and are looking for a complete and varied canyon.
One of the highlights will be a 12-metre abseil with spectacular views, and towards the end... The crowning moment: an optional 8-metre jump from under a medieval bridge, followed by a small waterfall and a final swim in crystal-clear water.
The best part is that you can repeat this last jump as many times as you want!
After all this excitement, we'll make our way back (about 40 minutes). 3 hours of real adventure in nature!
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for children aged 8 and over. Children may participate as long as they are accompanied by a responsible adult.
For safety reasons, this experience is not recommended for pregnant women, people with motor disabilities, reduced mobility or in the process of post-operative recovery.
No previous experience is required.
It is necessary to know how to swim.

The activity is available every day from April to October, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 people.
There are no changing rooms, showers or lockers for valuables.
Free parking is available . The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
In case of previous serious injuries, it is necessary to inform the organisers in advance. You will receive contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Pets are not allowed during the activity. Accompanying persons (and their pets) may wait at the meeting point or in the surrounding area.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
