If you want to get started in canyoning, the Viandico canyon is the natural water park you've been waiting for.

Experience a 2-hour adventure in the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park where you will descend a dynamic and fun canyon surrounded by a spectacular wild environment. During the tour, you will enjoy jumps of up to 8 metres, natural slides and an impressive 14-metre abseil next to a waterfall. The best thing is that all the obstacles are optional, allowing you to experience the adrenaline at your own pace and in total safety with expert guides.

What we will do

We will meet at the agreed time at the meeting point in Aínsa to start the day. After the welcome and introductions, we will be equipped with wetsuits, booties, helmet and harness, and we will have a technical briefing. This is the key moment where we will learn the necessary safety notions and progression techniques before setting off for the spectacular Añisclo sector.

We will begin with a 30-minute approach on foot along a beautiful path that will help us to warm up and connect with the environment of the National Park. Once the water touches our feet, we will enter a route full of fun and dynamism; this canyon is famous for its crystalline waters and a relief that seems designed for adventure, making us enjoy the freshness of the Pyrenees from the first minute.

During the descent of at least an hour and a half, we will test our agility by sliding down natural slides carved into the rock over millennia and defying gravity in optional jumps of up to 8 metres into deep pools. Our hearts will beat faster when we reach the 14-metre abseil: we will descend hanging from the rope right next to a spectacular waterfall, feeling the roar of the water and enjoying a privileged perspective that very few get to see.

This is the perfect adventure to make the most of the summer in the Pyrenees, combining sport with learning about the geology and local fauna from qualified guides. As this is a canyon where the challenges are optional, the pace will be adaptable so that everyone feels comfortable and safe. In total, the activity (including the approach) lasts approximately 2 hours.

Who it is aimed at

This beginners' activity is designed for everyone and requires no previous experience.

It is necessary to know how to swim and be in normal physical condition.

The minimum age to participate is 7 years old and the maximum weight allowed is 100 kg.

Minors must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult.

For safety reasons, the activity is not suitable for pregnant women or people with serious back injuries.

It is necessary to inform the organisers in advance of the weight and height of the participants in order to adjust the equipment. You will receive the contact details in the confirmation email.

Other information

The activity is available from 15 June to 31 August, with scheduled departures in the mornings and afternoons.

A minimum of 2 people is required for the experience (except in summer) .

The experience is carried out in small groups, always maintaining a ratio of 1 guide for every 8 participants.

The meeting point has free and paid parking and is accessible by bus.

Pets are not allowed.
