1, 2, 3... jump! A second of hesitation, then the water envelops you, you come to the surface... and it's only just begun. The Barranco del Júcar, near Cuenca, is an explosion of nature, freshness and adventure.
Slides, waterfalls and jumps await you in a perfect canyon to fall in love with this water sport, always accompanied by a professional guide.

What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Villalba de la Sierra, Cuenca.
From there, we will go up in our cars to the Ventano del Diablo viewpoint, where the mountain guide will give us all the necessary equipment (wetsuit, helmet and harness) and will give a brief safety talk.
Afterwards, we will start a 20-30 minute walk in the middle of nature until we reach the beginning of the canyon. The Júcar canyon will welcome us with an easy and dynamic aquatic route: slides, small waterfalls and rocks at different heights from which you can jump (optional).
It will be a perfect experience to enjoy in complete safety, also ideal for families. At the end of the descent, we will return to the cars with a walk of about 20 minutes.
The total duration of the activity will be between 2 and 3 hours and a half.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for children aged 8 and over. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and from the age of 16 can participate with a signed authorisation.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women, people with mobility problems or those who suffer from vertigo. Before the activity you will receive a form to indicate your weight and height, necessary to prepare the equipment.
It is necessary to know how to swim.
The activity is ideal as a first canyoning experience and is also perfect for groups of friends or families with children.
Other information
The experience runs from April to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 6 participants.
There is free parking in the area, but it is not possible to get there by public transport. It is possible to book a transfer service from Madrid (price to be consulted with the organiser) .
There are no changing rooms on site. Personal belongings can be left in the car.
Important: to activate the insurance you have to communicate your details to the guide. For this and other communications, you will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
