Your next plan: experience the exotic side of Gran Canaria.
Immerse yourself in the Valley of the Thousand Palm Trees with a camel ride, a visit to tropical gardens and a tasting of Canarian tapas in a unique experience, with pick-up included from the Mogán area.
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the agreed time, either in the Mogán area for the pick-up, or if we prefer, directly at the finca in the Nature Reserve of La Fataga. Once there, we will start the visit by exploring the tropical gardens of the Valley of the Thousand Palms, where we will see around us mangoes, papayas, guavas and other exotic fruits, as well as meet the farm animals that live on the grounds.
Afterwards we will go to the camel area to meet the camels and feed them before the ride. The camels will be ready for the ride, and the guide will accompany us on foot throughout the tour.
We will then begin our 1 hour camel ride, advancing in caravan through the impressive palm grove of more than 300 years old, within the Natural Reserve of Fataga, an enclave of enormous scenic and ethno-historic value that will make us feel like in an authentic oriental setting.
At the end, we will enjoy a moment of relaxation with typical Canarian tapas, such as papas arrugadas with mojo picón, Canarian chorizo, goat cheese and local olives. We will also be able to visit a small museum area with traditional tools of the island.
The complete activity lasts approximately 3 hours and a half, including the interactions with the animals, the walk and the tasting.

The activity is available all year round on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Pets are not allowed.
Accompanying persons are not allowed without reservation.
The organisers offer a pick-up service only from the Mogán area.
In case of not making use of the pick-up service, free parking is available at the finca . It can also be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
