Four hours in a buggy goes a long way.
From Calaf you'll drive through the countryside in the heart of Catalonia on a 98% off-road route that combines dirt tracks, rural trails, forest. .. It will be the perfect setting to enjoy changing landscapes full of character.
And, to recharge your batteries, a break at the Hostal de Pinós, a place with more than 500 years of history in the geographical centre of Catalonia, where a breakfast with authentic flavour awaits you . Ready for the full adventure?
What we will do
The appointment will be at the meeting point in Calaf, 20 minutes before the start. The team will meet us there for an initial briefing, lasting 15 to 20 minutes, where we will go over the safety rules and explain the handling of the vehicle before starting the engines.
Each of us will get on board our assigned buggy , equipped with safety goggles and a scarf or scarf to protect us from the dust, and we'll be ready to get underway. We will follow the instructor, who will lead the way with his vehicle to guide us on a 98% off-road route.
We'll head deep into the heart of Catalonia, riding along winding dirt tracks, trails through farmland, forests and rural landscapes full of contrasts. Along the way we'll discover everything from wind farms to ancient castles in ruins, as we drive along narrow roads, tight bends and fast straights that will test our skills and boost our adrenaline.
And we'll need to recharge our batteries too! We'll make a very special stop at the Hostal de Pinós, which has been open for more than 500 years. The town that gives its name to this historic place is considered the geographical centre of Catalonia. There we will enjoy a well-deserved breakfast before resuming the march and returning to the starting point.
The activity has a total duration of 4 hours, dedicated to experience the thrill of the buggy and the unique landscapes of Catalonia.
Who it is aimed at
It is not necessary to have experience in driving buggies.
To be able to drive the vehicle you must be at least 25 years old and have had your driving licence B or equivalent for at least 2 years.
To participate as a passenger it is advisable to be at least 6 years old or at least 1.20 metres tall. Minors must be under the supervision of an adult at all times.
The vehicles are accessible for people with motor disabilities. To participate as a driver it is necessary to have mobility in the hands and right foot.

The experience is available all year round.
There are 2 4-seater buggies and 1 2-seater buggy available.
If you are taking part with children you will need to bring your own buggy or booster seat.
It is advisable to wear several layers of clothing, as the area is usually quite hot and cold.
The activity is pet-friendly, so you can also take part with dogs. Pets may also wait on the premises with a non-participating companion.
Free parking is available on the premises for guests. The area is difficult to reach by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
