Full description
Forget the asphalt: Lanzarote needs to be experienced off-road.
With this buggy tour from Costa Teguise you will head to the north of the island, off the beaten track, crossing ancient quarries and volcanic landscapes until you reach Peñas del Chache, the highest point of Lanzarote. There you will pause to admire unique views, especially magical if you choose the sunset departure.
Two or three hours driving between volcanoes and cactus, a route for lovers of adventure and freedom. Don't miss it!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Costa Teguise. There our guide will be waiting for us 10 minutes before the departure time to welcome us, explain the activity and distribute the group in the different buggies.
Before starting the engines, we will have a brief briefing on how to drive the buggy, safety rules and recommendations to make the most of the experience. We will also have a few minutes to familiarise ourselves with the vehicle.
Once ready, we will head towards the north of Lanzarote, driving off the beaten track through the old quarries of Guatiza and the impressive Mala dam. We will drive along arid roads decorated with cactus until we reach Peñas del Chache, the highest point of the island, where we will stop to admire a unique volcanic landscape. If we choose the 3-hour option, the adventure will be extended to discover even more surprising corners.
From there we will start the descent through Teguisete and visit the quarry of El Mojón before returning to the starting point in Costa Teguise. If you opt for the last departure in the afternoon, you will be able to enjoy the walk with the additional magic of the sunset.
The whole experience will last approximately 2 or 3 hours, depending on the tour you choose.
