Full description
Skip the NASA training: the ochre-coloured cliffs and volcanic tracks of Jandía Natural Park will transport you to the surface of Mars on four wheels.
Enjoy a thrilling 2-hour guided buggy tour through the wildest landscapes of southern Fuerteventura. You’ll drive through movie-like scenery and past native wildlife until you reach the fishing village of Puerto de la Cruz and its lighthouse at the very tip of the island. An off-road adventure that includes a pick-up service from your hotel and a professional guide.
What we will do
Our adventure begins with collection from your hotel or by meeting directly at the Morro Jable pier, 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Once the group is ready, we’ll watch a short informative video about the Jandía Natural Park, put on our dust-protective goggles and listen to an entertaining explanation of the safety rules and how easy it is to drive the buggy.
We’ll start the engines and set off in a guided convoy towards the heart of the park. We’ll leave civilisation behind to tackle off-road tracks through ochre-coloured volcanic canyons that look as though they’ve been sculpted on another planet – the very same landscapes that served as the backdrop for productions such as Star Wars and Wonder Woman. As we make our way along, we’ll come across native wildlife roaming freely until we reach the southern tip of the island: the authentic fishing village of Puerto de la Cruz (known as El Puertito) and the Punta de Jandía lighthouse. At this point, we’ll make a 15-minute stop to stretch our legs and take in the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean.
After the break, we’ll set off again on a direct route back to the base to say goodbye to the group, bringing our expedition to a close after a total experience of around 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
An accessible activity suitable for beginners.
The driver must be over 18 years of age and present a physical, original and valid Category B driving licence (valid foreign driving licences are accepted) .
For passengers, the minimum age is 6 years, and they must be accompanied by an adult.
The maximum weight per participant is 140 kg (309 lbs).
This experience is accessible to wheelchair users and people with reduced mobility.
For safety reasons, this activity is not suitable for pregnant women.
Pets are not permitted.
Other information
The experience is available all year round, except on Christmas Day (25 December) and New Year’s Day (1 January) .
It is organised as a shared tour in a convoy of up to 7 buggies per trip (2 seats per vehicle) .
The activity includes a hotel pick-up service (available for accommodation in the Tarajalejo, Costa Calma and Morro Jable areas) . Those who prefer to make their own way should meet at the base located on the Morro Jable quay, which has free parking for customers.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
