You will hardly be able to enjoy a more seafaring meal than this one.
Be amazed by the beauty of the Rías Baixas with a catamaran trip from O Grove. For 2 and a half hours you'll sail among the bateas, combining a seafood lunch on board with the best views.
And get ready to finish your adventure with a dip in the waters of the Ría de Arousa. You won't regret it!
What we will do
We will arrive at the meeting point in the port of O Grove, Pontevedra, about 30 minutes before the boat departs. There we will be met by the catamaran crew to welcome us on board and, while we cast off, they will explain the safety and behaviour rules during the route.
We will head west, sailing along the waters of the Ría de Arousa and, while we enjoy the breeze, the crew will serve us a delicious seafood meal with typical local products, seafood rice and a choice of drinks. We'll enjoy the banquet while overlooking the islands of the estuary and the iconic bateas that dot the landscape.
As soon as we reach a quiet spot, the skipper will stop the catamaran so we can enjoy a refreshing dip. After a moment of complete fun in the waters of the estuary, we will start the return to the port of O Grove to conclude a day with a 100% Atlantic flavour.
The total duration of the experience will be between 2 and 2 and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for all ages.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The excursion is free for children up to 2 years old and does not include lunch.
The catamaran is wheelchair accessible.

The excursion is only available in summer. Please check the calendar to see if there are any dates available.
The trip takes place on a motorised catamaran with a covered deck, a sun deck, a glass-bottomed section and steps for swimming. It has on-board toilets and a capacity of 120 people, although this will be limited to a maximum of 65 to ensure passengers’ comfort. Depending on availability, the boat may differ from the one shown in the photos.
The trip includes a seafood lunch: steamed mussels, Galician empanada, prawns, seafood rice, dessert (melon or watermelon) , and a drink of your choice (wine, beer, soft drink or water) .
For alternative menus (for children, or due to allergies or intolerances, etc. ), please contact the tour organiser at least 48 hours in advance. You will receive the contact details in your booking confirmation email.
The boat is pet-friendly, but please do let us know in advance if you’ll be bringing large dogs.
Commentary is usually provided by a guide, although in some cases a recorded commentary may be used.
There is free parking at the harbour. Important: you must arrive well in advance to find a space; particularly during peak season, on Sundays and Fridays (when the market is on) . It is also possible to get there by public transport from Pontevedra (bus) .

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
