You will hardly be able to enjoy a more seafaring meal than this one.
Be amazed by the beauty of the Rías Baixas with a catamaran trip from O Grove. For 2 and a half hours you'll sail among the bateas, combining a seafood lunch on board with the best views.
And get ready to finish your adventure with a dip in the waters of the Ría de Arousa. You won't regret it!
What we will do
We will arrive at the meeting point in the port of O Grove, Pontevedra, about 30 minutes before the boat departs. There we will be met by the catamaran crew to welcome us on board and, while we cast off, they will explain the safety and behaviour rules during the route.
We will head west, sailing along the waters of the Ría de Arousa and, while we enjoy the breeze, the crew will serve us a delicious seafood meal with typical local products, seafood rice and a choice of drinks. We'll enjoy the banquet while overlooking the islands of the estuary and the iconic bateas that dot the landscape.
As soon as we reach a quiet spot, the skipper will stop the catamaran so we can enjoy a refreshing dip. After a moment of complete fun in the waters of the estuary, we will start the return to the port of O Grove to conclude a day with a 100% Atlantic flavour.
The total duration of the experience will be between 2 and 2 and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for all ages.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The excursion is free for children up to 2 years old and does not include lunch.
The catamaran is wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The excursion takes place during the summer season, approximately from 15 June to 15 September. Check the calendar for available dates.
The route takes place on a motor catamaran with a covered area, terrace, underwater viewing area and bathing ladders. It has toilets on board and capacity for 120 people, although it will be limited to a maximum of 65 to guarantee the comfort of the passengers. Depending on availability, the boat may be different to the one shown in the photos.
The route includes a seafood meal: steamed mussels, Galician empanada, prawns, seafood rice, dessert (melon or watermelon) , drink of choice (wine, beer, soft drink or water) .
For alternative menus (for children, allergies or intolerances. .. ) please contact the organizer of the excursion at least 48 hours in advance. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
The boat is pet-friendly, but it is necessary to warn about the presence of large dogs.
Explanations are usually given by a guide, although in some cases a recording may be used.
Free parking is available in the harbour. Important: it is necessary to arrive well in advance to find a parking space, especially in high season, on Sundays and Fridays (there is a market) . It is also possible to arrive by public transport from Pontevedra (bus) .

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
