Explore hidden corners of the coast of Cartagena and explore the environmental richness of the Isla de las Palomas on a unique trip.
Embark on a modern motorboat and sail the waters of the spectacular west coast of Cartagena, in Murcia. Spot majestic cliffs, historic coastal batteries and amazing places such as the Algameca Chica or the Arco de Amalia. Skirt the protected Isla de las Palomas, a unique natural bird sanctuary, while enjoying wild landscapes inaccessible by land. It will be 1 hour and 30 minutes of relaxation, history and memorable landscapes in an exclusive crossing.
What we will do
We will start the adventure 15 minutes before sailing time at the meeting point in the Port of Cartagena, where the organisers will welcome us for boarding. Once we have settled into a modern and very comfortable boat with padded seats, we will cast off to begin a 10 nautical mile journey that will take us to explore exclusive corners of the coast.
We will sail along the west coast of the bay, contemplating points of great interest such as the Military Arsenal, the Navantia Shipyards and legendary coastal batteries such as the Christmas Fort and the Punta de la Podadera. The route will become even more fascinating as we delve into the stories of the Algameca Chica, the Algameca Grande - from where the famous gold of Moscow departed - and the mystical Arco de Amalia. During the trip, the navigation will be enlivened with interesting recorded commentaries to learn all the local secrets in depth.
The finishing touch will come when we approach the Isla de la Torrosa, the beach of Fatares - with the spectacular reddish and greenish tones of its cliffs - and finally the Isla de las Palomas . This unspoilt environment, declared a special protection area for birds, is a real natural treasure and the only place in the Region of Murcia where the Cory's shearwater nests.
We will return to the port of departure having completed 1 hour and 30 minutes in total, with the wonderful sensation of having discovered the wildest and unknown side of Cartagena.

Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Due to the characteristics of the boat and the type of navigation, the activity is not accessible for wheelchair users , people with reduced mobility or the visually impaired. Likewise, for safety reasons, it is not suitable for pregnant women or people prone to motion sickness.

The experience is available all year round, with the exception of the winter months (November to February) .
The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport, although if you come by car, we recommend arriving 15 minutes early to find parking nearby (at least 30 minutes early on summer evenings) .
A minimum of 2 adults is required to confirm departure. The boat can accommodate 12 people.
When booking, all guests (including infants 0-2 years old)must be registered as they legally occupy a place on board for maritime safety reasons.
Pets are not allowed, with the exception of assistance dogs (with prior notice) .
For space and safety reasons , prams and baby carriers are not allowed on board.
