The Costa del Sol has so much more to offer – don’t just stick to the usual afternoon on the beach.
Hop aboard a 12-passenger boat at Benalmádena harbour and set off on a two-hour dolphin-spotting cruise. You’ll anchor in the open sea to take a dip away from the crowds, go snorkelling or try your hand at stand-up paddleboarding, whilst enjoying snacks and an all-you-can-drink bar on board.

What we will do
We’ll meet at the meeting point in the port of Benalmádena about 15 minutes before the departure time. There, we’ll be welcomed by the crew of the Salacia, consisting of the captain and a deckhand.
Before setting sail, we’ll attend a brief introductory talk during which the crew will prepare us to make the most of the experience. We’ll then set off to explore the Costa del Sol, sailing towards Málaga or Fuengirola depending on sea conditions. The crew will choose the perfect route, spending much of the time looking out for dolphins. These small cetaceans are often seen swimming playfully in the waters of this part of the Mediterranean.
The icing on the cake will be a 20-minute stop in the open sea, during which we’ll be able to jump into the water to swim away from crowded beaches, go snorkelling or have fun with the stand-up paddleboards on board. Throughout the experience, we’ll enjoy unlimited drinks and snacks on board – perfect for recharging our batteries between dolphin sightings and a dip in the sea.
We’ll return to the port of Benalmádena, refreshed by the sun and the sea breeze, after a 2-hour tour.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for all ages.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is accessible to people with mobility impairments provided they can walk a few metres with assistance, as the access ramp is too narrow for a wheelchair.

The experience is available from April to October. For the rest of the year, there are occasional weekend trips – please check with the organiser.
The activity is confirmed once a minimum group of 4 participants has been reached.
You’ll sail on the Salacia, a 17-metre motorboat with a capacity for 12 passengers. It is authorised by the Ministry for Ecological Transition (MITECO) for responsible whale watching and is equipped with a swimming platform, ladders and a fresh-water shower. Among other on-board amenities, you’ll find a toilet, beanbags for comfortable seating on deck, and areas with both sun and shade.
The tour includes drinks and snacks. We cannot guarantee that options will be available for people with allergies or intolerances, but you are welcome to bring your own food on board.
Important: smoking is not permitted on board and pets are not allowed.
Free parking spaces near the meeting point are limited, but there is also private paid parking available. The railway station is about 2 km from the harbour.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
