That's what awaits you during this catamaran trip along the Ría de Arousa. A magical evening of 2 hours and a half where seafood, the colours of the sunset and the tradition of the Rías Baixas are the protagonists.
Can you imagine anything more Galician than having seafood for dinner, watching the sunset over the sea and toasting with queimada?
What we will do
We will arrive at the meeting point in the port of O Grove, Pontevedra, about 30 minutes before the boat departs. We will be welcomed on board by the catamaran crew who, as we leave the port, will give us basic safety instructions.
We will sail along the waters of the Ría de Arousa, enjoying some of the most beautiful corners of the Rías Baixas while the sun goes down and the sky is tinged with orange tones. In this magical setting, the crew will serve us dinner: a typical seafood platter with prawns, langoustines, crayfish, crab?
To put the finishing touch to this experience with Galician DNA, we will attend the preparation of a Galician queimada, with its conxuro de rigor, before starting the return to the port of O Grove.
The total duration of the experience will be between 2 and 2. 5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for all ages.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The excursion is free for children up to 2 years old and does not include dinner.
The catamaran is wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The excursion takes place during the summer season, approximately from 15 June to 15 September. Check the calendar for available dates.
The route takes place on a motor catamaran with a covered area, terrace and underwater viewing area. It has a bathroom on board and capacity for 120 people, although it will be limited to a maximum of 65 to guarantee the comfort of the passengers. Depending on availability, the boat may be different to the one in the photos.
The route includes a seafood dinner: Galician pie, crab (1 pc) , prawns (4 pcs) , oysters cooked in vinaigrette sauce (3 pcs) , langoustines (4 pcs) , selection of steamed mussels, Santiago cake, drink of choice (wine, beer, soft drink or water) , queimada.
For alternative menus (for children, allergies or intolerances. .. ) please contact the organizer of the excursion at least 48 hours in advance. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
The boat is pet-friendly, but it is necessary to warn about the presence of large dogs.
Explanations are usually given by a guide, although in some cases a recording may be used.
Free parking is available in the harbour. Important: it is necessary to arrive well in advance to find a parking space, especially in high season and on Sundays. It is also possible to arrive by public transport from Pontevedra (bus) .

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
