Live a unique experience with this boat tour around the southwest of the island of El Hierro. Set sail from La Restinga, snorkel in the Mar de las Calmas Marine Reserve and watch the sunset in front of the legendary Orchilla Lighthouse, where the sun merges with the Atlantic in the most remote corner of the Canary Islands.

What we will do
Our appointment is at the meeting point in La Restinga, on the island of El Hierro. There we will be met punctually by the crew who will accompany us on this maritime adventure in the southwest of the island. Our guide will give us the snorkelling equipment and explain the details of the route before walking a few metres to the boat.
We will set sail to sail through the crystal clear waters of the Mar de las Calmas Marine Reserve, one of the most important underwater sanctuaries in the Canary Islands. We will stop at a sheltered spot off the coast, chosen according to the conditions of the day, to discover the impressive volcanic biodiversity of its seabed by snorkelling.
After a swim, we will continue our journey westwards, skirting ancient cliffs to reach the area of the Orchilla Lighthouse. If we are lucky, we may even see a dolphin or whale as we sail to the place that some considered to be the end of the known world. There we will enjoy the spectacle of the sunset over the Atlantic and share a small aperitif with a drink and a snack, toasting while the sky is tinged with fire in front of the silhouette of the lighthouse.
We will return to the port of La Restinga with the last light of day, having experienced one of the most unspoilt and powerful sunsets on the islands. The total duration of the tour will be between 3 and 3. 5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for all ages and no experience is necessary.
It is recommended that children are at least 3 years old. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
It is not compulsory to know how to swim, but it is advisable. On board there will be life jackets and floating accessories for children.
The experience is not accessible for people with motor disabilities.

Other information
The experience is available all year round and is confirmed when a minimum group of 4 people is reached .
You will sail on a Capelli Tempest 750 semi-rigid inflatable . The boat is 7. 5 metres long and has a 250 hp engine. It has a ladder for easy entry and exit from the water.
The inflatable is not equipped with seats, so it is advisable to wear clothes that protect the legs when sitting on the side.
It is not possible to participate with pets.
If you have any allergies or intolerances, please inform the tour organiser at least 48 hours in advance. You will receive their contact details in the booking confirmation email. You are also welcome to bring your own food and drink.
There are lockers at the dive centre; although they are not padlockable, the premises will remain locked.
The centre also has a changing area, toilet and shower.
Free public parking is available near the meeting point. It is also possible to reach the area by bus.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
