Boat trip to Isla Grosa and the Mar Menor from La Manga, with snorkel option

Sail the waters of two seas on a voyage that will reveal the hidden treasures of La Manga.

Climb aboard and cruise along 10 km of coastline discovering canals, bridges and the most emblematic islands of the Mar Menor. Cross into the Mediterranean to round the impressive Grosa Island and the Farallon Islet while you learn about the history of this volcanic corner of Murcia. You decide how to live the experience: you can take the panoramic route of 2 hours and 45 minutes or choose the option with anchorage to enjoy an unforgettable swim and snorkel in the middle of the nature reserve, extending the adventure to 3 hours and a half.

What we will do

We will start the adventure 15 minutes before sailing time at the waiting dock of Puerto Dos Mares, where the organisers will welcome us for boarding. Once we are all on board the "Solaz", a very comfortable and spacious swallow boat, we will cast off to start a tour that will allow us to see La Manga from a privileged perspective.

We will sail along the coastline of the Mar Menor and see the islands before crossing the Estacio Canal and its iconic drawbridge. As we head out into the open sea, the crossing becomes spectacular: we will round the Isla Grosa and the Islote del Farallón . While we enjoy the views, we will listen to explanatory recordings that will show us the volcanic origin of these formations and the richness of the posidonia meadows that surround them.

At the time of booking, you can choose between 2 options. If you opt for the route with anchoring and swimming, the experience becomes even more refreshing: we will stop our engines to enjoy a 30-minute swim in an unspoilt environment, using our giant mattress or snorkelling. This option adds an additional 45 minutes to the trip so you can enjoy the sea without rushing.

We will return to the port after enjoying the breeze and the Mediterranean sun. We will complete 2 hours and 45 minutes of sailing on the "panoramic route", or 3 and a half hours of total disconnection if we choose the option with a stop for a swim.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for all ages.

Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

It is not compulsory to know how to swim, as the snorkelling activity is optional and you can enjoy the crossing from the boat.

Due to the characteristics of the boat, the activity is not accessible for people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.

Other information

The scenic route is available from mid-September to June. (closed from November to February) . The option with anchoring and bathing operates from July until the first week of September.

The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport, although if you come by car, we recommend arriving 15 minutes earlier to find parking nearby (at least 30 minutes earlier on summer evenings) .

A minimum of 2 adults is required to confirm departure. The boat can accommodate up to 45 people.

When booking, all guests (including infants 0-2 years old)must be registered as they legally occupy a place on board for maritime safety reasons.

Pets are not allowed, with the exception of assistance dogs. In this case, it will be necessary to contact the organisers in advance to inform them of their presence.
