Full description
There's nothing like the sea breeze and the swaying of the waves to discover the beauty of the coast of Altea. You just have to decide with whom to share the experience.
Rent a boat without a licence and take advantage of 4 hours of sailing to discover from the sea the cliffs of the Sierra Helada wind dunes or the beautiful and rich seabed of the Costa Blanca.
Between the sea and the mountains, Altea occupies one of those natural enclaves that fascinate. If National Geographic says that it is the most charming town in Spain, there must be a reason, right?
What we will do
Our appointment will be at the Club Náutico de Altea 30 minutes before the booking time.
The first half hour will be dedicated to learning the main safety rules and all the technical aspects necessary for a smooth crossing. The organisers will accompany us during the first few minutes of sailing around the port, explaining the handling of the boat until we are ready to continue on our own. So, if you've always been a landlubber, don't worry. They will assist us until the sea wolf in all of us wakes up.
Without straying too far from the coast, as we will have a limit of 2 nautical miles, we will get to know the coastline of Altea. Sailing south towards Benidorm, we can also see the Sierra Helada area, discover numerous coves where we can anchor and be surprised by the island of Mitjana.
If we decide to sail north, we can reach the coast of Campomanes, the Morro de Toix and the entrance to Calpe. Depending on the day, it will be possible to visit the coves of Racó del Corb or Barra Grande. For snorkelling lovers, this will be a great opportunity, as the area has one of the clearest and liveliest seabeds on the coast. In addition, we will be able to observe different types of soil: from posidonia meadows to hard and rocky soil and sandy areas.
We will receive information about the areas where to anchor or drop anchor and, if needed, we will be able to contact land by telephone at any time.
The total sailing time will be 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone and babies count as passengers.
It is possible to take pets on board.
The harbour and the boat are accessible, but it is advisable to inform the organiser in advance about the presence of people with mobility problems if assistance is required.
Other information
The activity is available from 1 April to 30 November and there is no minimum number of participants.
It is possible to bring food and drink with you or to hire this service from the organiser. Upon request it is possible to have coolers on board.
You will sail on the Ponent or the Llevant, two 15hp, 5-metre long boats. Both have capacity for 5 passengers and are equipped with awning, access ladder for bathing, bow solarium and music system with bluetooth.
It will be necessary to pay a security deposit of 300 euros which will be returned after delivery of the boat in perfect condition.
On return to port we will pay for the fuel used.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
