Looking for an experience that has it all: sailing, paddling under colossal walls and seabeds that look like glass?
That's the privileged perspective you'll enjoy on this 2-hour trip. You'll kayak into the mythical bay of Barranco de Masca, paddling under 600-metre-high cliffs on an exclusive tour that combines the effort of paddling with the comfort of a support boat. A perfect plan to explore Tenerife' s wildest coastline with a snorkelling stop and a refreshing drink included.
What we will do
We will meet 30 minutes before the agreed time at the Port of Los Gigantes, Tenerife, where we will be met. After a brief welcome and safety briefing, we will embark on the first stage of the route: an approximately 40-minute boat trip that will take us directly to Barranco Seco. During this journey, we will already enjoy fantastic views of the coast and the immensity of the cliffs from the sea.
Once there, we will start our kayaking adventure. We will paddle for 1 hour at our own pace, feeling the immensity of the imposing 600 metre cliffs towering vertically above us. The effort of paddling will be rewarded when we reach the mythical bay of Barranco de Masca, a small and remote cove of black volcanic sand, located right at the mouth of a deep gorge. This wild corner, guarded by walls over 400 metres high, offers the cleanest and clearest waters of the Atlantic, ideal for cooling off and disconnecting from the world. Throughout the journey, we will have the constant support of our guide from the support boat, guaranteeing our safety and comfort with every stroke.
When we reach the bay, we will stop for about 20 minutes to snorkel. We will dive with goggles included to discover the seabed of this protected area. Before heading back, we will be able to rest and have a refreshing drink on board the boat. Finally, after approximately 2 hours of experience, we will all board the main boat to sail back to the harbour, enjoying the final views of the cliffs.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all ages from 6 years old.
Minors must always be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Children from 6 to 9 years old will travel in the middle of a double kayak between two adults.
Minimal swimming skills are required to participate.
The combined weight limit per kayak is 180 kg.
The experience is suitable for pregnant women.
Not suitable for wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility.
Pets are not allowed.

The activity takes place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with afternoon departures.
Groups are small, with a maximum of 10 people per outing.
There is a paid public car park in the area of the meeting point. Early arrival is recommended.
It is possible to arrive by public transport using bus lines 325, 473 or 477 that connect with the Port of Los Gigantes from the main points of the island.
Accompanying persons not taking part in the activity can wait at the port.
A non-alcoholic drink (water or soft drink) is included.
It is compulsory to present the original ID card or passport before boarding.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
