Full description
Did you know that the Ebro Delta is home and refuge to more than 300 species? If you like birds, you won't know where to look first.
Enjoy a 1 hour and 30 minutes guided trip sailing along the Ebro river while watching flamingos, kingfishers, herons and other species in one of the best birdwatching sanctuaries in the Mediterranean.
What we will do
We will meet 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point at the Club Náutico Riumar, in Deltebre, where we will be met by the professional skipper and expert guide in the fauna of the Delta, who will accompany us throughout the experience.
We will get on board Skipper Black, a 9-metre boat with side seats, and we will start sailing upstream, crossing the meanders and reed beds of the river Ebro, a privileged environment for birdwatching. At low speed, we will go along the riverbank while we learn about the fauna and the different ecosystems of the Delta.
During the tour, we will see characteristic species of the Ebro Delta depending on the time of year, such as grey herons, white herons, purple herons, kingfishers, ruddy ducks, ibis, eaglets and, with a bit of luck, groups of flamingos resting or feeding on the banks.
The skipper will explain curious facts about their behaviour, migrations and adaptation to the environment, and will help us to identify the most emblematic species of this wetland.
After approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes of sailing, we will return to the starting point with the sensation of having discovered one of the most unique landscapes in the Mediterranean.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is designed for all lovers of birds and nature photography.
It is suitable for everyone, with no age limit.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
People with reduced mobility or wheelchair users can participate as long as they can move to the seat of the boat.

The tour is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants and a maximum of 15.
Parking is available at the meeting point.
Skipper Black is 9m long, 3m wide, with side seats.
Pets are welcome and can board at no extra cost.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
