Full description
Doing yoga by the sea is already relaxing. But doing it on the sea is another level.
If you think balance and serenity are the stuff of Zen monks, wait until you find yourself in the warrior's position... on a SUP board floating in the ocean.
With this introductory SUP Yoga class in Lanzarote, you get 1 hour out of the ordinary: a perfect combination of conscious movement, connection with nature and inevitable laughter.
No previous experience is required, just a willingness to try. Spoiler: falling in the water is part of the game (and part of the fun!).
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Puerto del Carmen, on the island of Lanzarote.
Just a few steps from the beach, we will meet our SUP Yoga instructor and start with a short warm up on dry land.
Once the boards (and us) are ready, we'll move into the water for a 45 minute Yoga SUP session.
Guided by a certified instructor, we'll practice flowing movements, deep breathing techniques and yoga postures adapted to the board.
You won't need the flexibility of a contortionist or previous experience: the aim is to let go, find balance (physical and mental) and let yourself be carried by the swaying of the sea.
We will finish by returning to the meeting point. The total duration of the activity is approximately 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for children aged 8 and over. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult during the activity, while children under the age of 18 can participate on presentation of a signed authorisation.
It is not necessary to know how to swim, but a good command of the water is required.
Other information
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed on the achievement of 5 participants.
Important: the timetable may vary depending on sea and wind conditions.
Free and/or paid parking is available in the area, and the meeting point is accessible by public transport.
On site you will find changing rooms and showers, and you can store your belongings in a secure locker.
Dogs are not allowed during the experience.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
