Technique, position and balance. Do you dare to surf?
In this beginner's surfing class you will learn the essentials to take your first wave. The class takes place on the spectacular Victoria beach, right in the centre of Cadiz and perfect to get started in this sport and start to master the Atlantic waters with the help of expert instructors.
It will be an intense and fun 2 hours. You'll end up tired, yes... but you'll want to do it again.
What we will do
The meeting point is in Cádiz, 10 minutes before the booking time. The instructor will be waiting for us there to give us the equipment and accompany us on foot to the beach, which is just a few metres away.
Once on the beach, we will start with a briefing of about 15/20 minutes, during which the instructor will explain the basics of surfing, the operation of the board and the main movements. It will be the moment to learn a bit of surfing vocabulary and wave terminology, but also to get familiar with the board, warm up a bit and learn the technique before jumping into the water.
We'll do some exercises on the sand to perfect our balance, improve our skills and... We'll be ready to get into the water! Once in the sea, we 'll put into practice everything we've learned working on the board: we'll learn the correct position, how to take-off, keep our balance, steer on the wave and, of course, enjoy ourselves.
We will leave the water tired, but full of energy after an intense 2-hour lesson. Depending on the option chosen during the booking, we can arrange with the instructor for the next session.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable as a first experience of surfing and can be taken part from the age of 6 years old.
Minors can participate with an authorisation.
It is compulsory to know how to swim.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women and is not adapted for people with mobility problems.
Other information
Classes are held throughout the year and are confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Groups are usually divided into age groups to facilitate learning. Mixed classes for families are available on request.
Accompanying persons who do not participate in the class are welcome to attend. Dogs are not allowed on the beach during the summer, during the rest of the year they can stay with their companions in the area.
In the surf school facilities (on the beach) there arechanging rooms with individual lockers, toilets and showers with hot water.
There is no free parking near the beach, but it can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
