A board, a sail... and a good dose of balance.
In this windsurfing initiation class in Montgat you'll learn about the different elements that make up the windsurfing board, such as the mast, the sail and the boom. In 2 hours you will learn how to set up the equipment, how to adopt the correct positions to take advantage of the wind and how to ride your first metres gliding over the water.
Push yourself beyond your limits and let the wind drive you, a perfect fuel, don't think about it, live it!
What we will do
The meeting point is located in Montgat. It is advisable to arrive 15 minutes before the time indicated on the booking.
The first few minutes will be devoted to a briefing in which the instructors will explain the safety rules and how the activity will be carried out. Afterwards, we'll get kitted up and head to the shore for the fun to begin.
The group class will begin with a theoretical explanation and equipment assembly . We will then go into the technique necessary to achieve the objective of the session: to stand up on the board, holding on to the sail correctly, and to advance a few metres.
The activity will take place in moderate wind conditions, which will allow us to enter the water and handle the sail comfortably, even if it is our first experience. It will be a perfect opportunity to test our balance and enjoy the adrenaline of gliding over the water.
The class will last 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for beginners and is open to participants aged 8 and over. Minors must present a signed authorisation.
It is necessary to know how to swim.
Participants who have any doubts about the suitability of the activity are advised to contact the organiser using the contact details provided in the booking confirmation email.

The activity is available from 1 May to 30 September.
The group will be a maximum of 6 participants to guarantee the necessary attention from the instructor.
There is paid parking nearby and it is possible to arrive by train from Barcelona.
There are facilities with changing rooms and lockers available for participants.
Accompanying persons can wait on the school premises, where there is achill out area . Dogs can be kept on a lead on the premises, but not on the beach.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
