Calm sea, a board and a paddle... The rest is just a matter of balance.
In this beginner's paddle surfing class you will learn the basics of how to handle the board and paddle with confidence. The class takes place on the spectacular Victoria beach, right in the centre of Cádiz and perfect for getting started in this sport, discovering the coast from a different perspective and feeling the Atlantic from the hand of expert instructors.
Ninety minutes that will fly by... just like you on the board.
What we will do
The meeting point is in Cádiz, 10 minutes before the booking time. The instructor will be waiting for us there to give us the equipment and accompany us on foot to the beach, which is just a few metres away.
Once on the beach, we will start with a briefing of about 15/20 minutes, during which the instructor will explain the basics of SUP, how to handle the paddle, the position on the board and the techniques to keep the balance. This will be the time to familiarise ourselves with the equipment, warm up a little and learn the technique before entering the water.
In the sea we will put into practice what we have learnt:stand up paddling, turning, staying on course and moving smoothly. All in a safe environment and under the constant supervision of the instructor.
We will leave the water with the satisfaction of having mastered our first metres on the board, after an intense 1 hour and a half lesson. Depending on the option chosen during the booking, we can arrange with the instructor for the next session.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable as a first experience of paddle surfing and can be taken part from the age of 6 years old.
Minors are allowed to participate with an authorisation.
It is compulsory to know how to swim.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women and is not adapted for people with mobility problems.
Other information
Classes are held throughout the year and are confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Groups are usually divided into age groups to facilitate learning. Mixed classes for families are available on request.
Accompanying persons who do not participate in the class are welcome to attend. Dogs are not allowed on the beach during the summer, during the rest of the year they can stay with their companions in the area.
In the surf school facilities (on the beach) there are changing rooms with individual lockers, toilets and showers with hot water.
There is no free parking near the beach, but it can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
