Full description
Rock slides, abseiling and postcard-perfect landscapes in the heart of the Pyrenees.
Very close to the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park, the Furco canyon is the perfect place to get started in canyoning with excitement from the very first metre. With three abseils (two of them 25 metres long) , natural slides and an optional 8-metre drop, it offers a short but very complete route in a setting of great scenic beauty .
Three hours of adventure in one of the most popular canyons in Alto Aragón. Are you up for the descent?
What we will do
The appointment with the guide will be at the indicated time at the Torla offices. There we will check in, collect the technical equipment and organise our journey by car to the town of Broto, a journey that will take about 10 minutes.
Once in the area, we will get ready while the guide gives us the first indications. Afterwards, another 10 minutes on foot will leave us at the gates of the Furco canyon, a compact canyon, with impressive views and very complete. Before entering, the guide will complete the briefing and explain the basic notions of safety and progression.
Along the route we will descend three rappels, two of them up to 25 metres (spectacular!). In addition, we will enjoy sliding down several natural slides and, if you wish, you can make an optional 8-metre jump.
With a distance of 800 metres and a drop of about 100 metres, this canyon will surprise us for being dynamic and accessible for those who want to get started without giving up the thrill. Between 2 and 2 hours and a half later, we will finish the descent super close to return to the car.
The total duration of the activity will be approximately 3 hours.
