How do you know howto hoist the mainsail and how to make a good mooring? Get started with this activity in an exciting world.
Sailing the waters of the Mediterranean Sea you will enjoy your sailing baptism. You'll set sail from Barcelona' s Olympic Port and, with iconic landmarks such as the Sagrada Familia and Tibidabo in the background, you'll learn all the secrets of sailing on a sailboat. Ropes, sails, courses and much more.

What we will do
Our meeting point will be at the Olympic Port of Barcelona. It is not necessary to arrive in advance, but we will be very punctual.
After a short safety talk we will start our first contact with sailing. The skipper will explain in detail how each part of the boat works. We will get to know all the equipment and instruments on board. In addition, we will learn how to perform actions such as mooring, hoisting and trimming. We will also gain a better understanding of how winds work and how to recognise the different types of courses. Finally, we will know what to do in an emergency situation and learn how to act in a "man overboard" situation.
Meanwhile, we will be able to enjoy the surroundings of Barcelona's Olympic Port and see emblematic places such as the Sagrada Familia and Tibidabo from the boat. If we are curious travellers, the skipper will act as our guide and will explain details and curiosities about the city and its history.
We'll have a snack on board the boat while we enjoy the tranquillity that only the sea can offer and, if we wish, we can stop for a dip in the sea. We will return to the starting point at the end of the trip.
The sailing will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone. You don't need to know how to swim, there are life jackets on board.
There is no minimum age to participate in the sailing and babies also count as a place on board.
In the case of people with mobility problems, the boat can be brought to within a few centimetres of the quay so that they can get on board. However, a wheelchair would not fit on board.

The activity takes place all year round every day and the maximum capacity of the boat is 7 people.
Paid parking is available in the vicinity of the harbour. It can also be easily reached by public transport (metro, bus or tram).
We will sail on a Beneteau Oceanis Clipper 343 sailing boat of 30 hp with a length of 10.8 metres. The boat is equipped with toilets, showers and bathing ladders.
You can participate as a companion, but the price of the activity will be the same.
With prior notice, the food can be adapted to people with allergies or intolerances. You can also bring your own food, as there is a fridge on board.
The planned itinerary may change on the fly depending on the weather.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
