Have you seen those documentaries where the water is so clear that it looks like glass? Now imagine diving into it.
In Tenerife you can experience your first underwater dive directly from a boat, heading for the protected bays of El Puertito or La Caleta, accompanied by an expert instructor and - if you're lucky - some curious dolphins.
You don't need any previous experience, just the desire to discover what happens underwater when everything else disappears.

What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the scheduled time in Costa Adeje (TF), at the marina of Puerto Colón. There we will be met by the instructor, who will guide us step by step through this first underwater experience.
We will start with a short theory session of about 30 minutes to familiarise ourselves with the equipment and learn the basic safety rules.
We will then put on our wetsuits, fins and tank, and board the boat which will take us to one of the nearby bays - El Puertito or La Caleta, both of which are protected marine areas.
Once anchored in calm waters, we will enter the sea with the instructor always at our side. We will descend little by little to a depth of 6 metres, remaining underwater for 20 or 40 minutes, depending on the option chosen.
Amongst the seaweed that moves with the currents and the play of light, we will be able to spot rays, sea turtles, octopus and shoals of tropical fish. And with a bit of luck, the occasional dolphin can be spotted from afar.
At the end of the dive, we will return on board and head back to the harbour. The experience lasts about 3 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is recommended for children aged 8 and over. Minors must bring a signed authorisation or be accompanied by an adult on board.
You don't need a diving licence or previous experience. You just need to be confident in the water.
The activity is not recommended for pregnant women. In case of heart disease, lung disease, asthma, epilepsy or diabetes, a medical certificate is required.
Other information
The activity is available all year round, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The meeting point is accessible by public transport and has free or paid parking.
The dive centre has changing rooms with showers and lockers to store personal belongings.
Accompanying persons can wait on the beach or board the boat for an additional cost of €30.00.
Diving is not recommended during the 24 hours prior to a flight.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
