Full description
There are those who relax on a sun lounger... and those who just disconnect with a tank on their back and fish in front of their eyes.
If you are one of the latter (or want to be), this diving baptism is for you: a first dive in calm waters, from the shore, with an instructor at your side at all times.
In Tenerife you don't need to be a mermaid or a superhero: all you need is curiosity and the desire to discover an underwater world that looks like something out of a documentary... but this time, the GoPro is you!
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Los Cristianos. We will meet our instructor, who will accompany us throughout the experience.
After receiving the equipment, we will have a briefing of about 30 minutes to learn the basic rules of diving: how to use the regulator, how to communicate underwater and what to expect during the dive.
We will put on our wetsuit, fins and tank and enter the water directly from the beach, in a safe and protected area.
Down there we will explore the seabed, diving to a maximum depth of 6 metres, for 20 or 40 minutes, depending on the option you choose, and always with the instructor at our side.
We'll see tropical fish, starfish, turtles, rays and the odd creature that will make us ask: "what is that?
When we leave, we'll relax on the beach and close the activity with a little review and, if we want, some underwater photos as a souvenir.
The total duration of the experience will be about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is recommended for children aged 8 and over. Minors must bring a signed authorisation or be accompanied by an adult on board.
You don't need a diving licence or previous experience. You just need to be confident in the water.
The activity is not recommended for pregnant women. In case of heart disease, lung disease, asthma, epilepsy or diabetes, a medical certificate is required.
Other information
The activity is available all year round, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The meeting point is accessible by public transport and has free or paid parking.
The dive centre has changing rooms with showers and lockers to store personal belongings.
Accompanying persons are welcome and can wait on the beach or on the terrace of the dive centre.
Diving is not recommended during the 24 hours prior to a flight.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
