Have you always wanted to see what lies beneath the surface of the sea?
This diving baptism in Tossa de Mar is perfect for you to get started in this exciting world. Accompanied by an instructor you will be able to reach a depth of 8 metres. A 1-hour dive in which you will live an unforgettable first diving experience on the Costa Brava.
Don't think twice and put on your wetsuit!
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the start of the activity at the dive centre in Tossa de Mar.
We will start with a brief initial training of 40 minutes in which the instructor will explain a bit of theory to get to know the elements of the equipment and the basics of diving. He will also share with us some tips for the dive.
Afterwards, we'll put on our wetsuits and boots before heading to the beach of Tossa de Mar by van. We'll do the dive from the shore, so all we'll have to do is finish getting kitted up and the fun begins. The instructor will follow us in each phase and, as we start from the beach, we can do everything at our own pace and get used to being underwater little by little.
During approximately 1 hour of immersion, as the time depends on how long it takes to consume the oxygen in the cylinder, we will be able to explore the area in a completely controlled environment. Always in the company of the instructor we will discover the marine flora and fauna, with species such as seahorses, octopus and cuttlefish or even sea bream.
The total duration of the activity will be 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone with the condition of knowing how to swim.
The minimum age to participate is 8 years old and minors must be accompanied by their parents/guardians, who must sign a permission form.
Pregnant women, people who have had an operation in the last 12 months or who are taking any kind of medicationare not allowed to dive. For people with hearing problems, asthma, heart problems or diabetes, medical clearance is required.
Prior consultation with the organiser is required regarding accessibility for people with mobility problems.

The activity takes place all year round, except from 20 December to 7 January.
Free parking is available near the meeting point. It is also possible to get there by public transport from Barcelona.
To take part in the activity, participants must fill in and sign a medical questionnaire about their health conditions.
You dive to a maximum depth of 8 metres. The dive is done directly from the beach.
If participants have their own equipment they can use everything except the tank.
It is not possible to fly by plane within 12 hours after the dive.
In the dive centre there are changing rooms with showers and lockers to leave personal belongings.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
