Full description
If your curiosity about the bottom of the sea is not satisfied with documentaries, it's time to go down and see for yourself.
In this 2 hour diving baptism in Tarifa you will experience your first dive in the heart of the Costa de la Luz. With full equipment included and an instructor guiding you through every fin, you'll discover that the silence of the sea has a lot to tell you. A great plan to share with a group and get to know the underwater world in an authentic way.
What we will do
We will meet at the agreed time at the meeting point in Tarifa. There we will meet our instructor, who will welcome us and accompany us to the end. The adventure begins with a 20 minute theory class where we will learn the basics of diving: how to breathe correctly, how to compensate the ears and the signals to communicate underwater.
Once equipped with wetsuit, mask and tank, we will start our route from the beach. Accompanied by our guide, we will dive in the Costa de la Luz for a dive of up to 45 minutes. We will descend to a depth of between 4 and 8 metres (with a maximum of 12 metres) , experiencing for the first time the incredible sensation of weightlessness. During the tour, our instructor will supervise every movement in groups of maximum 4 people, guaranteeing a safe and relaxed experience.
We will be able to observe starfish, octopus, moray eels and orange-coloured corals. If we sharpen our eyes, we will find even more curious species such as the rat fish hidden in the sand or the colourful nudibranchs.
At the end of the dive, we will return to dry land to remove our equipment, put our gear away and discuss the best scenes of the dive. In total, between preparation and diving, we will experience approximately 2 hours of pure marine connection before we say goodbye with the satisfaction of having completed our first diving baptism.
