You swim like a fish, but you still haven't learnt to breathe underwater? Here you have the perfect opportunity to do so!
In Binibeca, on the south coast of Menorca, you can live the experience of a diving baptism, designed for those who want to get started in the world of scuba diving in complete safety.
With the assistance of an expert instructor, you will explore the seabed from the beautiful Cala Torret to the beach of Binibeca. The experience lasts a total of 2 hours and will allow you to discover the thrill of the underwater world up to a maximum depth of 6 metres.
What we will do
The appointment is at the indicated time at the dive centre in Binibeca, Menorca.
We will be met by the instructor, who will guide us step by step through this new adventure. After completing a brief medical questionnaire, we will start with a 20 minute theory session in the classroom, during which we will be shown the equipment and explained the basic safety and breathing rules underwater.
We will then head to the nearby Cala Torret, about 50 metres from the facilities. Before the dive, we will do 3 preparation exercises to gain confidence with the regulator and the marine environment.
Together with the instructor, we will start the dive from the cove in front of the centre and dive to Binibeca beach, exploring the seabed for about 40-45 minutes, to a depth of 6 metres. Among the species we will be able to observe are shoals of barracudas, groupers, pollack, lemon fish and, in some seasons, rays.
At the end of the dive, we will return to the centre to change. The total duration of the experience is 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for children aged 8 and over. Minors must be accompanied by an adult who will sign the documentation.
Pregnant women, people who have had recent operations, heart or respiratory problems or other major pathologies are not allowed to participate. It is necessary to complete a medical questionnaire before the activity and to have insurance that covers diving activities (this can be purchased at the centre for €9 if it is not included in your travel insurance).
The activity is ideal for those who want to get started in the world of diving.
It is not recommended to dive in the 24 hours prior to a flight.
Other information
The experience is available from May to October.
Free parking is available on site; in high season, early arrival is recommended.
On-site changing rooms with showers and lockers are available to store your personal belongings.
Non-participating guests can wait on the premises, relax in the nearby bar or go to Binibeca beach, just a 2-minute walk away. Dogs on a lead are only allowed on the premises (not on the beach).

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
