Imagine floating weightlessly, breathing underwater and sharing the habitat with fish and other wonders of the seabed.
Dive into Calahonda Beach and experience a sensation that is hard to describe, but very easy to live. Forget earthly gravity and step into a real animal nursery for a full 3 hour experience. Learn the basics with professional instructors and conquer a new environment.
Important notice: diving can have the unexpected effect of making you fall in love with the sea forever.
What we will do
We will meet at the agreed time at the meeting point in Calahonda, Granada, to start shaping our underwater adventure. After a welcome, we will meet for a full briefing with essential technical explanations on the handling of the diving equipment and safety rules. Once we are ready, we will change and get into the van for a short 5 minute drive that will take us straight to the dive site at the iconic Calahonda Beach.
On arrival at the shore, we will enter the water one at a time from the beach to ensure personalised attention and maximum safety for each participant. In the water, we will do some drills and practical exercises with our instructor to familiarise ourselves with the regulator and gain full confidence before descending. While we wait for our turn on the beach, we can relax and enjoy the coastal environment. When the time comes to dive, we will descend to a depth of between 3 and 6 metres (and can go up to 10 metres maximum if we already have some previous experience) to enjoy an unforgettable dive of between 20 and 30 minutes per person. We will swim in a seabed that looks like a real nursery of animals, surrounded by groupers, groupers, groupers, gobies, sarpas, octopus, cuttlefish and eye-catching triggerfish.
After exploring the seabed and taking some souvenir photos of the activity, we will return by van to the organisers' diving club. There we will close the day sharing the best anecdotes of our first time under the sea. In total, we will enjoy a complete experience of approximately 3 hours between the theoretical training, the preparations, the transfers, the waiting on the beach and the magical immersion in the waters of Granada.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is designed for beginners. No previous experience is required.
The minimum age to participate is 12 years old and it is compulsory for all minors to be accompanied by an adult.
It is essential to know how to swim.
People in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility can participate but must inform the organisers in advance in order to adapt the logistics of the transfer.
Pregnant women are not allowed in accordance with international maritime safety recommendations.

The activity is available from April to November.
The dive takes place with a minimum of 4 participants and a maximum of 8.
The guides conduct the activity in Spanish and English and you must let us know in advance if any English speaking participants join the group.
You will need to fill in a medical questionnaire which you will receive immediately after confirming your booking to validate your fitness.
Free parking is available in the immediate vicinity of the meeting point.
The village can be reached by public transport, although on-time attendance is subject to the combinations and timetables of the bus line.
Accompanying persons who choose not to dive can wait comfortably in the sun on the beach.
Pets are not allowed.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
