You haven't really experienced Gran Canaria until you get to know its seabed.
In Agaete a first diving experience awaits you with everything you need to dive with confidence. You will start with a theory session at the dive centre and experience your first dive to a depth of 6 metres , surrounded by Atlantic marine life.

What we will do
We will have to arrive punctually at the meeting point in Agaete, in the northwest of Gran Canaria. The instructor who will accompany us on this Discover Scuba Diving experience will be waiting for us there.
We will start with a theory session of about 40 minutes at the dive centre, where we will receive all the necessary explanations about the use of the equipment, underwater communication and safety rules. After completing the medical form, changing and equipping ourselves we will walk to the beach of Agaete, just a few metres away.
The dive will be done from the beach, always under the constant supervision of the instructor. During the experience, we will reach a maximum depth of 6 metres. We will have time to familiarise ourselves with the regulator and experience our first emotions in the underwater world.
For about 30 minutes we will be able to enjoy the seabed in the north of Gran Canaria. We will be able to see different marine species of the area such as black fulas, pejeverdes, giant anemones, fire worms, octopuses, cuttlefish, bream. ..
At the end of the dive, we will return to the dive centre, where we can change and share our experience.
The total duration of the activity is approximately 2 to 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity can be done from the age of 10 and no previous diving experience is required.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult at the dive centre to sign the authorisation.
It is necessary to know how to swim and be in good health.
In case of cardiovascular, pulmonary, blood pressure or hearing problems, or if you are taking prescription medication, you will not be able to participate in the activity. A medical examination module will be completed at the beginning of the activity.
The activity is not accessible for people with mobility problems.
Other information
The experience is available all year round.
In the dive centre there are changing rooms with showers and a place to leave personal belongings.
Those accompanying people who do not participate can wait on the beach, in the harbour, or strolling through the village of Agaete. Dogs may be kept on a leash, but it is forbidden for pets to swim on the beach.
Both free and paid parking is available near the dive centre . Public transport is also available in the surrounding area.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
