Do you sometimes feel like a fish out of water on land ?
If the sea is your second home, then it's time to take the plunge and do that scuba dive you've always dreamed of.
In Lanzarote our instructors are waiting for you for a sea baptism during which you will swim underwater among angel sharks, stingrays, rays and seahorses.
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the time selected during the booking at the meeting point in Teguise, Lanzarote. The instructor who will accompany us on our first underwater dive will be waiting for us.
The activity will start with a 20 - 30 minutes training session in which we will be explained the basics of diving, the equipment you will be carrying and the precautions and good practices to take into account during the dive. Then, the instructor will give us the equipment and we will proceed with the clothing.
After that, we will move to the dive site, which will be in Costa Teguise or Puerto del Carmen. Here we will be explained the signals to communicate underwater. At this point, we will be ready to dive directly from the beach.
Together with the instructor, we will dive to a depth of 5 metres and admire the Canarian marine fauna: seahorses, stingrays, rays... and even angel sharks.
The duration of the dive will be between 30 and 50 minutes, depending on how long it takes to use up the air in the tank and how comfortable we feel. Once the dive session is over, we will change on the beach and return to the dive centre to process the SSI Try Scuba digital certification of the diving experience.
The total duration of the activity is approximately 2.5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 8 and up; children under 18 must have a signed consent form.
You don't need any qualifications or previous experience, but you must be able to swim to take part in the activity.
The experience is not suitable for pregnant women, people with respiratory or cardiac problems, or people with motor disabilities.

The experience takes place all year round.
Free parking is available in the vicinity of the meeting point and it is also accessible by public transport.
Normally, participants change directly on the beach, but there are showers on the school premises. The organisers take care of storing any valuables.
You dive to a maximum depth of 5 metres and dive from the beach. There will be a minimum of 1 instructor for every 2 participants.
It is not possible to participate with your own diving equipment.
It is recommended not to dive within 12 hours before a flight.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
