Hot-air balloon flight with toast over Vallès Oriental

Dare to change your perspective with a balloon flight of approximately 1 hour, reaching up to 1, 500 metres above the Vallès Oriental region. Contemplate the silhouette of Montseny, the unmistakable shape of Montserrat and, on clear days, the glow of the Mediterranean Sea on the horizon.

An unforgettable 3-hour experience , between preparations and the flight, culminating in a toast. .. because it's not every day you get to experience the sensation of touching the sky.

What we will do

We will meet 5 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Cardedeu, in Vallès Oriental, which for weather and safety reasons could be moved to Vic, in the county of Osona. The take-off area will be decided according to the weather and wind, and after booking the exact place will be confirmed in advance. There we will be met by the flight team, who will introduce us to the activity and give us all the information we need to enjoy the flight in peace and quiet.

Then we will move to the take-off area, where the magic begins: we will see how the balloon is prepared and, if we wish, we can participate in the inflation by helping with small details. Little by little, the huge sail will come to life until it rises above the field.

The pilot will guide us as we embark one by one and, once on board, he will explain to us how the flight will take place and what the main safety rules are. Once everything is ready, we will start to rise delicately through the air currents to embark on a magical journey through the clouds.

For about 1 hour we will float silently at the mercy of the wind, reaching up to 1, 500 metres above sea level and contemplating breathtaking landscapes: if the flight starts from Cardedeu, we will enjoy views of the Montseny, the iconic mountain of Montserrat and, if the day is clear, even the Mediterranean coast; if it starts from Vic, we will see fields, forests and hills with the Pyrenees in the background.

After landing, the team will come to meet us and, if we wish, we can participate in the folding of the balloon, closing this adventure together. Afterwards, we will toast with cava or other drinks, accompanied by a small aperitif, while we talk about what we have experienced. As a souvenir, we will receive a personalised flight certificate with our name on it, before returning by car to the meeting point.

In total, there will be about 3 hours of complete experience between preparations, flight and final celebration.

Who it is aimed at

Ballooning is a quiet activity in which anyone from 6 years of age can participate. No previous experience or specific preparation is required.

Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

For safety reasons, pregnant women, people in wheelchairs, people with reduced mobility or with respiratory problems are not allowed to fly.

Other information

The activity is available all year round and will be confirmed if a minimum number of 4 participants is reached.

Important: Due to weather conditions and to guarantee maximum safety, the take-off point in Vallès Oriental may be modified and moved to the Osona region. Once the booking has been made, the organiser will send you precise information before the day of the experience.

The balloon rises to approximately 1, 500 metres above sea level, although the exact height may vary depending on weather conditions.

Free parking is available at the meeting point.

The Cardedeu meeting point in Vallès Oriental is not accessible by public transport, while the Vic meeting point in Osona is accessible by train from Barcelona.

It is not possible to participate with pets.

You will be able to use your mobile phone or camera during the flight. In addition, the organiser will take a photographic report of the experience which will be shared with you.

It is possible to hire, at the time of booking, a return transfer from Barcelona to the flight point, with the meeting point at the Hard Rock Café in Plaza Cataluña.
