From the sky Arcos de la Frontera will seem like a dream come true.
During this approximately 1 hour balloon flight you will see its labyrinth of white houses perched on the Peña, the Guadalete river, the reservoir, the fields and the Sierra de Cádiz in the background. And if the day is clear, you can even make out Jerez, El Puerto de Santa María or the Bay of Cádiz on the horizon.
After landing, a local breakfast and a sparkling toast to round off the adventure awaits you. You'll be back on the ground, yes. .. but something in you will still be flying.
What we will do
The meeting point in Arcos de la Frontera is about 45 minutes before sunrise . The team will be waiting for us there and will take us by 4x4 to the take-off point, located in the outskirts of Arcos de la Frontera .
Once the point has been chosen, the balloon will be slowly inflated and the pilot will explain the basic safety rules. With everyone on board, it's time for take-off: a gentle ascent that will take us slowly over the white silhouette of Arcos, perched on its Peña.
At our feet the Guadalete river, the reservoir, fields, cattle farms and, if we are lucky, wildlife such as roe deer, rabbits and even eagles. On clear days, we can make out Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto or even the bay of Cadiz in the distance.
After about 60 minutes of flying, we will land in a nearby area. The team will pick us up and take us back in 4x4 to the starting point, where a local breakfast and a sparkling wine toast will be waiting for us to close the experience as it deserves.
The total duration of the experience will be approximately 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all ages.
We recommend a minimum height of about 1. 40 metres.
The maximum weight per person is 130 kg.
The experience is not suitable for pregnant women.
The balloon is not accessible for people in wheelchairs or with problems to stand for a long time and/or bend their knees (movement necessary during the landing) .
Other information
The experience is available all year round and is confirmed with a minimum group of 6 passengers. Please note that the flight is also strongly conditioned by the weather.
After confirming your booking, the flight organiser will send you the documentation to register you as a passenger and will tell you the exact time of the meeting, which will depend on the sunrise.
It is not possible to take pets on board the balloon.
You may bring a small, light bag or rucksack on board.
There are breakfast alternatives for people with intolerances or allergies, as well as for vegetarians or vegans, if you let the organiser of the experience know in advance. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
It is possible to arrange transport from your accommodation directly with the flight organiser .
Free parking is available in the vicinity of the meeting point. It is not possible to get there by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
