Hot-air balloon flight in Toledo

With this balloon flight in Toledo you will live a unique experience. You will be able to see the city from the highest point, floating among the clouds. The Toledan sky will be the perfect place from which to admire a city rich in history and architecture: the beautiful cathedral, the majestic Alcazar, the medieval bridges... All under the incomparable light of the sunrise.

What we will do

We will meet the team at the take-off point, located at the La Peraleda de Toledo fairgrounds, about 10 minutes before dawn.

We will find everything ready to embark and take off. Although, if we wish, we can also go about an hour before to see the whole process of preparation and inflation of the balloon (which itself lasts about 15/20 minutes). In any case, with the first light of dawn, we can gradually begin to climb into the basket following the team's instructions. Once on board the basket, the pilot will provide us with the necessary information about safety rules and will answer our questions about the flight.

The ascent will be smooth and silent, ideal to enjoy from the first moment. Little by little, we will rise above the landscape and we will see how Toledo unfolds under our feet. During the flight, we will contemplate from the heights the Alcazar, the cathedral, the synagogues, the mosques and other places full of history of this city, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The wind will set the course and decide where we land. Once on dry land, it's time to follow tradition: we'll toast with sparkling wine to celebrate the experience and recover our strength with an aperitif of tortilla, Manchego cheese, fuet and picos, as well as water and soft drinks. At the end, we will return to the starting point in the organisation's vehicles .

The activity will last about 3 hours in total .

Who it is aimed at

Ballooning is a very peaceful activity in which anyone from the age of 6 can participate .

The only limitation, for safety reasons, is that pregnant women and people with osteoporosis are not allowed to fly.

Children must always be accompanied by an adult.

The flight is accessible to people with mobility problems and there are places for wheelchair users. It will be necessary to contact the organiser beforehand.

People weighing more than 140 kg must also inform the organiser in advance.

Other information

The activity can be done every Sunday of the year and will be confirmed if a minimum number of 8 participants is reached.

A few days before the flight, the organiser will send you an email with all the necessary information. In addition, you will be able to communicate the presence of people with mobility problems and any food intolerance or allergy.

It is not possible to leave your car on the take-off field itself, but you can park nearby free of charge.

You can bring a small rucksack or bag, but large rucksacks must be left in the organiser's car.

After the flight, the organiser will send a flight certificate for each participant and a video and photos of the experience to the booking email address. It will also be possible to use phones or cameras during the flight.
