Full description
Segovia has a thousand ways to make you fall in love. But none as silent and gentle as observing it from the air.
During this hot-air balloon flight, you will see the medieval walls, the Roman aqueduct, the cathedral and the Alcázar below your feet... The flight, which lasts approximately one hour, will be marked by the currents, offering unique views to each passenger.
On landing, a country breakfast and a glass of cava awaits you. A complete experience for which it will be necessary to toast .
What we will do
The appointment will be at the launch field in Segovia, just before dawn.
On arrival, the balloon will be in the middle of the preparation process and we will be able to witness the hypnotic moment of inflation. When the basket is ready, we will get on board and the pilot will give us the essential instructions to enjoy the flight in complete safety.
The moment of take-off is almost like a mystical experience. With the maximum gentleness, the air currents will make us rise little by little. We will fly at different heights and enjoy being rocked by the wind as we begin to make out the main monuments and natural attractions of Segovia.
From the air, we will contemplate the silhouette of Segovia with its walls, the Roman aqueduct, the cathedral and the imposing Alcazar. We will also follow the course of theEresma River and we will recognise the curious silhouette of the Mujer Muerta (Dead Woman) in the Sierra de Guadarrama.
It will be the wind itself that will decide our trajectory, and also the place where the flight will end. When we land, a country breakfast of Iberian cold meats and cheeses will be waiting for us, accompanied by a glass of cava to toast the adventure. Finally, we will be able to attend the balloon pick-up before returning to the meeting point in an all-terrain vehicle.
The total duration of the activity will be about 3 hours and a half.
Who it is aimed at
Ballooning is a very peaceful activity in which anyone can participate from the age of 6 years old, and the minimum height to participate is 1.20 metres.
Children must always be accompanied by an adult.
For safety reasons, pregnant women, people with serious heart problems and people with osteoporosis are not allowed to fly. It is also advisable to inform the organiser if there are participants weighing more than 140 kg. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
The flight is not accessible for people with mobility problems or wheelchair users.
The organiser reserves the right to refuse admission to people under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who present a disrespectful attitude.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
