Have you ever looked up at the sky and wondered how many secrets the stars hide?
Escape the city lights and immerse yourself in a 2-hour guided astronomical observation experience with a telescope. Designed to reconnect with the cosmos in the heart of the Sierra de Guadarrama in Madrid.
What we will do
We will meet 10 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Los Molinos or nearby areas of the Sierra de Guadarrama. The exact location may vary depending on visibility, so we will be notified in advance to let us know exactly where we will be. Once there, we will be met by our guide, who will prepare us to immerse ourselves in the darkness and take advantage of every minute of this window to the universe.
We will begin with a naked-eye observation, letting our eyes get used to the stellar mantle. We will follow the trail of a laser pointer to navigate through the constellations while we listen to tales of mythology and fantastic stories that the ancients already projected among these same shadows. It will be a journey through time to understand what we are really looking at when we look up at the sky.
In the second part, we will move into action with the professional telescope. Taking turns, we will look through the scope to discover the treasures that the night hides according to the season: from the rings of Saturn or the moons of Jupiter in the colder months, to the light of nebulae and distant galaxies during the summer. We will be able to ask any curiosity while enjoying a quiet, static evening away from the hustle and bustle.
After about 2 hours of deep exploration, we will say goodbye with the feeling that the cosmos is now a little less unknown, but with our curiosity burning to continue discovering all the jewels that the infinite hides.

This experience is suitable for all ages.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The activity is accessible for people with reduced mobility and wheelchair users; it is only necessary to indicate this when booking to ensure a suitable meeting point.

The activity is available all year round, from Monday to Sunday, weather permitting.
The minimum group size is 2 people and the maximum group size is 15 per instructor.
Children under 3 years of age participate free of charge, although it is necessary to inform the organisers when booking so that they can take this into account.
The meeting point may vary depending on weather conditions and visibility. The starting time will also depend on the sunset. It is essential to contact the organisers prior to the activity to confirm both the final meeting point and the exact start time.
Free parking is available at the meeting point. It is not recommended to arrive by public transport due to the location and timetables at night.
Pets are not allowed.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
