Do you feel more like Robin Hood or Princess Merida?
Discover how to handle the bow and arrows from the hand of a master archer in this instinctive archery activity in Colmenar Viejo, very close to Madrid. With a little theory and a lot of practice you'll notice how your aim improves shot by shot.
Finish the experience with "The Last Arrow", a final challenge with a prize. Will you be the winner?
What we will do
The instructor will be waiting for us at the estate located in Colmena Viejo, Madrid, 15 minutes before the start time. We will be welcomed by the master archer, who will start the activity by explaining what instinctive archery is all about. There will be a brief theoretical and historical introduction, as well as a review of the safety rules before moving on to practice.
Then, we will equip ourselves with the bow, the arm guard and the arrows and we will get on the shooting line to carry out the first series. We will start at close range and, little by little, we will vary the position and distance of the targets. The instructor will correct our posture, the release and the way we aim, so that each arrow will help us to improve our technique .
Once we are confident, we will continue with shooting to try out different techniques and styles. We will close the session with the game "The Last Arrow", a final group challenge to say goodbye to the activity with emotion and good atmosphere with a final prize for the winner .
The activity will have a total duration of 2 hours and a half.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is necessary and you can participate from the age of 11.
Minors need the authorisation of a legal guardian.
The activity is also accessible for people with motor disabilities.
Other information
The activity takes place on some weekends of the year, check the calendar for the next dates. It is confirmed when a minimum group of 5 participants is reached .
Accompanying persons who do not participate may attend as spectators or wait at the bar on the premises. The area is pet-friendly, but pets must be kept on a leash at all times.
Free parking is available at the meeting point. It is not possible to reach the area by public transport.
