Full description
Sailing in a sailboat in the bay of Santander is not only a great plan, it is almost a must if you visit the city.
With this charter, you'll get on board a 12-metre sailboat with a professional skipper and all the comfort you need. You choose whether you prefer to sail around the bay, anchor off the Puntal beach or sail out to sea to the Mouro lighthouse or the Sardinero.
Choose between half a day or a full day and let yourself be carried away by the wind, the Cantabrian coast and an experience that, for sure, you will want to repeat.
What we will do
The appointment is 5 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Santander, where you will be met by the skipper.
You will board an elegant 12-metre sailing boat, with a 60 hp engine and equipped with 3 cabins, 2 bathrooms, a spacious saloon-kitchen and fridge. The skipper will dedicate the first few minutes to a brief briefing on the safety rules to be respected on board. Once finished, you will be ready to set sail for our adventure!
You will set sail with an open route of your choice: stay in the bay, go to the Puntal beach, go around the island of Santa Marina, pass by the Mouro lighthouse or go as far as the Sardinero. If you feel like it, the skipper can also tell you interesting facts about the history of Santander and the places you sail by.
With food, drink, good company and the Bay of Biscay as a backdrop, the time on board will fly by.
The activity will last a total of 4 hours or 8 hours, depending on the option chosen during the booking.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied or have written authorisation.
The boat is also accessible for people with reduced mobility. If you use a wheelchair, it is necessary to notify in advance to organise assistance for boarding: contact the organisers on the contact numbers you will find in the booking confirmation email.

The charter is available all year round.
The itinerary is subject to weather and sea conditions. Sailing will be by sail, weather permitting.
You will be able to bring food and drink, as well as use the fridge on board.
It is advisable to be barefoot on board. It will not be possible to wear shoes with black soles.
The boat is pet-friendly, but we advise you to inform the skipper in advance of the presence of dogs. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
