Full description
There are many ways to discover Cordoba. But none as magical as seeing it from the air.
During this balloon flight of approximately 1 hour you will enjoy unique views of the Mosque-Cathedral, the Guadalquivir, the rooftops of the historic centre and the olive groves that surround the city. The route, marked by the wind, will show you a Cordoba full of history, contrasts and beauty from the sky.
And after landing, a local breakfast and a toast will put the finishing touch to a morning to remember.
What we will do
The meeting point in Cordoba will be about 45 minutes before dawn . The team will be waiting for us there to take us by 4x4 to the take-off point.
Once there, the balloon will be inflated and the pilot will give us the necessary instructions to enjoy the flight in complete safety. The take-off will be almost like a magic trick: we will start to rise gently, rocked by the air currents.
We will fly over Cordoba for approximately 1 hour, rocked by the wind. The itinerary will be decided by the wind, but we are sure to be able to see the splendid Mosque-Cathedral, the course of the Guadalquivir River, the rooftops of the historic centre, the Botanical Gardens and the olive groves that surround the city. With luck, the air currents will also allow us to see the castle of Almodóvar del Río and other architectural gems rising above the Cordovan skyline.
After a quiet landing, the team will pick us up by jeep to take us back to the meeting point. There we will enjoy a local breakfast and a traditional toast to end the experience on a high note.
The total duration of the experience will be approximately 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all ages.
We recommend a minimum height of about 1. 40 metres.
The maximum weight per passenger is 130 kg.
The experience is not suitable for pregnant women.
The balloon is not accessible for people in wheelchairs or with problems to stand for a long time and/or bend their knees (movement necessary during the landing) .
Other information
The experience is available all year round and is confirmed with a minimum group of 6 passengers. Please note that the flight is also strongly conditioned by the weather.
Once your booking has been confirmed, the flight organiser will send you the documentation to register you as a passenger and will inform you of the exact time of the meeting, which will depend on the sunrise.
It is not possible to take pets on board the balloon.
You may bring a small, light bag or backpack on board.
There are breakfast alternatives for people with intolerances or allergies, as well as for vegetarians or vegans, if you let the organiser of the experience know in advance. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
It is possible to arrange transport from your accommodation directly with the flight organiser .
Free parking is available in the vicinity of the meeting point. It is not possible to get there by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
