If you were lost in the wilderness tomorrow, would you know what to do?
Prepare yourself for what might happen with this survival course in Collserola. For 4 hours you will learn how to stay calm, make decisions, build shelters, make fire and take advantage of the resources of the environment. All through real games, challenges and dynamics.

What we will do
The appointment will be 10 minutes before the start at the meeting point in Collserola, Barcelona. We will be in a natural setting very close to the Sant Medir Hermitage. To begin with, the mountain guides will welcome us and explain how the activity will take place.
Afterwards, we will be able to move on to the first part of the training with an introduction on the psychology of survival: how to react to an unforeseen event and what mistakes to avoid when something goes wrong in nature. From here, all learning will be based on practice and trial and error, working on frustration response and decision making.
The majority of the course will take place in a base camp with various bushcraft workshops . We will learn how to choose the right place to build a shelter, how to use the natural resources available and how to light a fire using different techniques. We will also deal with water purification systems, in a participative way and applied to real situations.
Everything will be worked on through games and cooperative challenges, adapted to all ages, so that learning is useful, fun and easy to remember.
The experience will have a total duration of approximately 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This is an introductory survival workshop designed for hikers, families and nature lovers in general.
No experience is necessary and participants from 7 years of age can take part.
Children under 15 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Between 16 and 17 years of age, a permit signed by a legal guardian will be required , who will accompany them to the meeting point.
The experience is not accessible for people with motor disabilities.
If you have any doubts about the suitability of the activity, consult your doctor.
Other information
The experience takes place on selected weekends throughout the year. Consult the calendar for dates.
The programme will be adapted to the time of year and to the needs that may arise in the mountains in each season.
You will receive indications in the days beforehand about the exact meeting point.
In order to make it easier to concentrate on the course, it is not possible to participate with pets.
There is a free guarded car park near the meeting point. It is not possible to reach the area by public transport. The organiser will facilitate communication between participants so that they can share a car.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
