5-hour survival workshop in Chulilla

In this 5-hour survival workshop in Chulilla you will learn the basics of bushcraft and the prepper in a practical and enjoyable way with an expert guide. You will discover how to orientate yourself, light a fire, prepare a first aid kit or improvise a shelter. All in the middle of nature, with a realistic and fun approach.

What we will do

The appointment will be at the recreational area of Pelma, in Chulilla, at the time indicated in the reservation. There we will be met by a mountain guide, an expert in survival, who will welcome us, hand out the basic equipment and give us a first theoretical introduction .

For approximately one hour, we will go over the essential concepts: preparation for an outing, survival material, basic first aid kit, prepper backpack and psychology in emergency situations. This will be the basis for understanding how to act in the event of unforeseen events in nature.

Then we will move on to the practical part. We will put into play what we have learnt with orientation exercises using a map, compass and natural elements. We will discover bushcraft techniques, we will see different ways of obtaining and purifying water, lighting a fire or building a shelter. We will also talk about medicinal plants and how to deal with adverse elements such as insects, storms or animals.

Depending on the pace and level of the group, we will practice simple first aid techniques in remote areas, basic use of ropes for ascents and descents, and notions of rescue in live water. The approach will always be participative and realistic, with activities designed so that we learn while enjoying ourselves and working as a team. You will be able to reinforce your safety in the natural environment and take away skills that will also be useful in your day to day life.

The total duration of the workshop is 5 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is recommended for children aged 8 and over. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult with a signed authorisation.

The activity is not recommended for people with recent injuries, serious illnesses or mobility problems. We advise you to contact your doctor if you have any doubts about the suitability of the activity and to inform the guide of any pathology. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.

The activity is perfect as a first contact with survival techniques.

Other information

The experience is available all year round except July and August and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.

A transfer service is offered from Valencia, to be contracted directly with the organiser once the booking is confirmed.

Free parking is available in the vicinity of the meeting point, but it is not possible to reach the area by public transport.
