Full description
Sometimes, the best plan is to lose yourself for a while and find yourself among trees and paths.
Enjoy 2 hours away from the noise, riding through the forests of Aguamansa, among laurel, sage and lemon thyme. A relaxed, safe ride, suitable for all levels, ideal for enjoying the fresh air and the calm of the north of Tenerife.
What we will do
The appointment will be at the agreed time at the meeting point in the equestrian centre of Aguamansa, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. On arrival, we will meet the guide and the horses, who will be ready to start the ride.
Before setting off, we will be able to observe or brush the horses and familiarise ourselves with them. Once ready, we will start our 1 hour horseback ride, going directly to the Aguamansa forest, with no need to cross roads.
The route, of between 8 and 12 kilometres, runs along wide and safe paths through laurel, sage, oregano and lemon thyme, the native vegetation that perfumes this area in the north of Tenerife. The terrain is gently sloping, with flat stretches and small climbs that allow you to enjoy the scenery at your leisure and without difficulty.
The guide will adapt the pace to the level of the group: if it is your first time, he will accompany you on foot, leading the horse by the leash; if you already have experience, you will be able to ride more independently and even trot or gallop on some sections of the route.
During the route, the guide will share interesting facts about the plants of the Canarian forest, and we will make some stops to take photos and enjoy the surroundings. The sound of hooves on the ground, the fresh air and the tranquillity of the place create a perfect atmosphere to disconnect and reconnect with nature.
At the end of the tour, we will return to the equestrian centre with the sensation of having experienced 2 hours of calm, nature and freedom on horseback, a relaxed experience adapted to the rhythm of each rider.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is designed for all ages and levels of experience, from first-time riders to experienced riders. The horses are docile and calm, and the guide adapts the route to the pace and confidence of each participant.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult or have a signed authorisation.
Participants must not exceed a maximum weight of 100 kg. You must communicate your weight and experience to the organisers in advance, using the contact details that you will find in your booking confirmation email.
The activity is not suitable for wheelchair users.

The saddle used is English.
There is the option of a pony ride (only for children over 4 years old and up to 45 kg) for €60. To book, select the option "Pony ride" during the booking process.
The meeting point is accessible by public transport on Titsa bus line 345, departing from Puerto de la Cruz bus station.
Free parking is available on site.
Pets are not allowed.
Accompanying persons not participating can wait at the equestrian centre.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
